January 10: Yummy M&M treat

I have a new love interest with Pinterest! I found this recipe there and love these fun little treats. Enjoy!

Place Hershey's kisses on small twisted pretzel and melt by putting in a 275 degree for 3 minutes. Immediately after taking out of the oven, push an M&M on each piece. Refrigerate until firm.

Welcome to my recipe blog

I love to collect recipes and have been doing so for years. I have so many recipe books. I am always looking for new recipes. I try to copy restaurant food or am always asking people for recipes that I taste and like (I am sure that is real annoying). I have compiled two recipe books already and I think I have enough favorite recipes that I could fill another book (or blog) with a recipe a day for a year. So I am going to do it!

I will also write a little story of where I got the recipe. I would love to give full credit to those who have given me their recipes but knowing that some may not want their names in a blog I will use only first names. But you know who you are! Thank you for sharing your recipes with me.

Another thing that compels me to do this is that my children are growing up and starting to leave home. Richie is on his own and in college . Jen is teaching school, but will probably be off to graduate school next year. Heidi will also be in college next fall. And Ian will be home with me. Maybe he will start cooking for us. This will give them easy access to all of our favorite recipes.
