1 c shortening
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 c sugar
1 c sour cream
1/2 tsp soda
4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
4 1/2 c flour
Cream together shortening, eggs, vanilla, sugar and sour cream. Sift together the dry ingredients and add to the other. Mix well. Chill 2 hours. Roll out. Bake at 350 for about 8 minutes.
Frost with Sugar Cookie Frosting (see February 15)
